Guillermo Bautista

PHh. D. in Education. Professor in the Open University of Catalonia (Department of Education Science – www.uoc.edu) and PhD in Education, professor at the Open University of Catalonia (Department of Education Science – www.uoc.edu) and associate professor of Barcelona University (Department of Didactic and Educational Organization - www.ub.edu/doe/).

Dr. Bautista is a member of UOC’s e-Learn Center (http://elearncenter.uoc.edu/) and of EMA research group (http://www.grupema.net/). He develops his research on ICT didactic integration in the teaching and learning process in different levels of education (face to face and distance education).  Specifically he is interested in how ICT in the schools allows educational activities by means of methodologies such as project based learning, curricular globalization and collaborative learning. He has obtained a grant from the Ministry of Education of Spain to study the integration of ICT in Swedish schools. His research stay is at the Department of Didactic Science and Early Childhood Education of the University of Stockholm.
